Utah Death Records by County

Utah's 29 counties each maintain local vital records through county health departments and local registrar offices. Death certificates for deaths that occurred within the past 50 years are available from local health departments in the county where the death took place. For deaths older than 50 years, records can be obtained through the Utah Office of Vital Records and Statistics or the Utah Division of Archives and Records Service.
